How the export works – Malta
- Enquiry: tell us the vehicle type, protection class and budget – we reply with availability and price.
- Malta is part of the EU single market: no customs duties apply, and with a valid VAT number we invoice as an intra-Community supply without VAT.
- Transport: collection at our yard in Kassel (A44, exit Kassel-West) or delivery through our forwarding partners.

Delivery to Malta
Most vehicles are handed over at our yard in Kassel to your driver or freight forwarder. On request we deliver to your door – for example to Valletta, Birkirkara or Mosta. Vehicles for Malta are shipped by RoRo ferry – usually from Genoa, Salerno or Catania to Valletta. Within the EU single market the vehicles travel without customs clearance. The vehicle is driven to the Italian port and shipped from there; RoRo sailings to Valletta leave from Genoa, Salerno or Catania.
